1. Time waste
If traditional spot color matching
methods are used: Many companies have at least 50 spot colors each month, and
some single printing machines have a work load of 110 spot colors each month.
We assume 80 pot colors are matched each month, and 40 minutes of shutdown and
matching is required for each spot color, then we have to spend 38,400 minutes
in matching spot color ink, equal to 27 days. We assume RMB 10,000 of printing
income can be earned each day (24 hours), then the loss in one exceeds RMB
270,000.
2. Serious ink waste
In spot color matching mechanism,
preparation of excess ink instead of insufficient ink is allowed, and workers
often prepare excess ink basing on their experience. If the excess ink is not
used timely, there may be many solidified ink dregs as there are many air
bubbles in the ink due to no process of air discharging, leading to serious
quality defect in the printed products. Therefore, many companies discard the
residual spot color ink after a relatively short period, and this causes
serious economic loss and environmental pollution.
3. Easy occurrence of quality problems
As the traditional color matching mechanism
requires manual color matching by workers, their experience becomes quality
standards. This may
easily cause quality accidents such as excess color hue difference, serious
metamerism, serious color change after drying, and even loss in subsequent
processes. These quality problems are also key reasons for product returning by
customers, and may lead to disastrous losses.
How to improve the traditional spot color matching methods with
rapid, accurate and low-consumption new methods? To solve this process defects,
we must optimize the spot color ink preparation process. Thus, we developed
standardized and data-based Nuobang Peiseda color matching software.
Zhongshan Nuobang Color Equipment Co.,
Ltd., after many years of research, has developed an accurate, aimed and easily operable color matching
system basing on internationally accepted color expression, the color features
of domestic printing ink, the color matching functions of color spectrum data,
and the like.
